San Diego Zoo Welcomes new Satanic Gecko

Not everything we feature on Babyanimalz is “cute” but this one caught my attention.

San Diego Zoo welcomed their first baby animal of 2011.  This baby hatched on New Years 2011.

The satanic leaf-tailed gecko is native to the African Island Madagascar.  It gets is strange name because of the horns over their eyes.

The New Year’s Day gecko weighed less than a gram and was smaller than a dime when it hatched.  They are masters of comofluage, and are widely considered the smallest Gecko on the planet.
